What should I expect on my first tattoo session?
You’ll have a consultation, followed by design finalization and the tattooing process, all with a focus on comfort and safety.
How do I care for my tattoo after the session?
At our studio we invest in the best tattoo derma wrap (the latest in afrercare solutions). This is a closed healing process where the tattoo is never exposed to any bacteria or pollution. Also the lines and colour of the tattoo remain intense and crisp lifelong.

Is Laughing Budda Tattoos safe and hygienic?
Yes. We use single-use sterile needles opened in front of you, a sanitised workstation for every client, and derma-wrap closed-healing aftercare that protects your new tattoo from bacteria and pollution.
Do you do cover-ups of old tattoos?
Yes. Send a clear photo of your old tattoo on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether it can be covered and what design would work. Cover-ups start at ₹1,500. Tattoo cover-ups →
Do you do medical tattoos such as scar or areola tattoos?
Yes. We offer scar camouflage, areola restoration after breast surgery and vitiligo blending, with private consultations. Please check with your doctor first. Medical tattoos →
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
The surface usually settles in two to three weeks, while the deeper skin keeps healing for longer. Keep it clean, moisturise lightly, and avoid the sea, pools and strong sun until it has healed. Aftercare in Chennai's humidity →
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
We are open every day from 10 am to 9 pm. Walk-ins are welcome when an artist is free, but it's best to message us on WhatsApp at +91 93846 25256 to book a time.
